Bedwell & Company - Boatyard News Flash

Simon and James would like to take this opportunity to introduce themselves prior to taking ownership of the boatyard at The Bend, Mill lane on the 1st October 2025. 

We are looking forward to continuing the great services Richard and Steve Wyatt currently provide.

Bedwell & Co will cease to operate and the boatyard will be owned and operated by Hipkin & Oxley Ltd.

If you've been to the boatyard recently then you will have noticed that we are helping to clear out the sheds in preparation for the move in a few weeks time.

Richard and Steve will continue to carry out all of the current yard services but directly through us, your initial point of contact for booking any work will be with Simon or James.

All invoicing will be produced by Hipkin & Oxley Ltd. and if you are already on the hard standing (or will be on the hard standing this month) you'll be invoiced at the beginning of October for the forthcoming 6 months storage commencing from 1st October 2025. 

You'll be pleased to hear the price list for all of the Haul out and launching etc. is set to stay the same, a full price list is available on our website HIPKIN & OXLEY LTD - you can even book on there too.

Oxley Marine and Simon Hipkin boats will be moving onto the site, it is our aim for more services to be available to you, please get in touch if you would like some more information on this, both websites are linked to the HIPKIN & OXLEY LTD website so please take a look.

Work commencing in the Boatyard over the next few weeks:

The NCK crane will be fitted with an electronic load cell to meet the current regulations and then onto testing of the boat hoist and crane prior to the flurry of the haul out season.
